The best anti-Jack Ciattarelli commercial you probably never saw

TRENTON, NJ – Love him, dislike him or hate him, Phil Murphy defeated Republican candidate for Governor Jack Ciattarelli on Election Day. Ciattarelli was the major GOP loser on a night powered by a ‘red wave’ that swept across many communities in America, but Jack came up short.

What you might not know about Jack Ciattarelli is that back in 1994 as a councilman in Raritan, Ciattarelli championed a swearing ban. Ciattarelli and the Raritan council passed the law that would criminalize foul language, but then Police Chief Joseph Sferra said he would not instruct his officers to enforce the overreaching law that violated residents’ First Amendment rights.

“We can’t let that a–hole win,” one person in the ad created by Democrats said.
