Shot Spotter Alert Leads Police to 57 Year-Old Shooting Victim

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – On December 14, 2021 at approximately 6:49 p.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of Mosher Street for a shot spotter alert.

As officers canvassed the area, they located a 57 year-old male who had been shot. The victim told officers he had been shot in the 900 block of Wheeler Avenue.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive his injury. Western District shooting detectives are investigating this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at (410) 396-2477 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7lockup.
