Man, 47, stabbed and killed in Camden

Camden, N.J. – Detectives are investigating a fatal stabbing in Camden, announced Acting Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.

Officers responded to the 2400 block of Federal Street at approximately 3:12 p.m. Thursday for reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located a male suffering from a stab wound.

The victim was taken to Cooper Hospital. He succumbed to his injuries at approximately 4:43 p.m. The deceased male has been identified as Michael Lane, 47, of Camden.
