Road crew finds man’s high school class ring lost twenty years ago

SHILOH, NC – South Carolina Department of Transportation road crew workers found a ring in a roadside ditch while working there clearing the ditch near Shiloh. One of the workers noticed a Class of 2000 ring inscribed with Fort Dorchester High School and engraved with the name Jimmie Baker.

It turns out Baker lost the ring 20 years ago and saw a post from his former high school advertising the find.

“Class ring found!! Found in Shiloh. Has the name Jimmie Baker. Class of 2000 from Fort Dorchester High School. Seems to be size 12 or bigger,” Fort Dorchester High School posted on their official Facebook page.

Moments later, James Baker replied, “Wow! That’s mine! Lost it 20 years ago.”
