Police investigating murder in Bethesda

BETHESDA, MD – The Montgomery County Department of Police –Major Crimes Division are investigating the December 20 homicide that occurred in Bethesda. At approximately 8:15 p.m., 2nd District officers responded to the 6800 block of Wisconsin Avenue for the report of a suspicious situation. Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male in a stairwell with trauma to his body. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene. The victim’s identity will be released following proper notification of next of kin. This is an active and ongoing homicide investigation.
