Christmas double homicide suspect captured in Fresno

FRESNO, CA – A man is in custody following a shooting that left two women dead. Around 1:45 pm, Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shots fired call at a family gathering located near Goodfellow and Reed Ave. in Reedley.

Deputies discovered two women with fatal injuries. The suspect had already fled the area, however, several collaborating law enforcement agencies were able to track him down near American and Anchor Avenues. Assisting agencies included: The California Highway Patrol, Reedley Police, Sanger Police, Orange Cove Police and Kingsburg Police.
