Woman and her dog shot to death inside New York City bodega

BROOKLYN, NY – A woman and her dog were both shot and killed inside a Brooklyn Bodega on Sunday. The incident happened at the bodega on Dekalb Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant at around 10 p.m. Police said the woman was inside the bodega when a man outside opened fire. Police arrived to find her unconscious. 36-year-old Jennifer Ynoa was pronounced dead at the hospital. Her dog perished in the attack.
