Suspect Sought in d.c. Armed Robbery

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in reference to an Armed Robbery (Bottle) offense that occurred on Saturday, January 1, 2022, in the 7300 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest.

At approximately 3:47 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect struck the victim with a bottle and took the victim’s property then fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect was captured by a surveillance camera.
