Police seeking to identify Aldi’s theft suspect

HUNTINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA – Pennsylvania State Police Troop A – Greensburg Barracks responded to Aldi Grocery Store located at 100 Crossroads Plaza, East Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland County on Sunday, 12/19/2021 at 1118 hours for a report of a theft.  Upon arrival, Troopers spoke with the victim who related $300 had been taken from a small metal lunch box she was using as a wallet after she accidentally left it at the store. 

Security footage was reviewed, and the pictured female suspect took the victim’s lunchbox left at the grocery bagging area from the store. She then returned the box shortly after to a store employee with the cash missing.
