BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – On January 21, 2022, at approximately 3:50 a.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of Woodbourne Avenue to investigate a shooting.
Once at the location, officers located a 26-year-old male victim suffering an apparent gunshot wound to the left leg. Medic transported the victim to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was walking in the 1200 block of Woodbourne Avenue when two unidentified individuals approach the victim and announced a robbery, the victim attempted to flee but heard a pop and realize he was shot. Northeast District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.
