21-year-old shot Sunday in Columbus expected to recover

COLUMBUS, OH – On Sunday, at 6:44 am, Columbus Police Patrol officers responded to a shooting in the 1700 block of Shanley Dr.

Upon arrival, officers located the 21-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound to her left leg. The victim stated she was walking up to her residence when she was shot. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.

At this time there is no suspect information.
