Toledo man arrested with drugs, cash at bus station after pulling gun

COLUMBUS, OH – On Saturday, January 15, 2022 around 2 am, officers were dispatched to 111 E. Town St. (Greyhound Bus Station) on a gun run.

The victim claimed a male pulled a gun on him and he feared for his life.

Officers obtained the identity of the suspect, 36-year-old Vaughnell Gray of Toledo. When they tried to talk to Gray, he fled on foot.

Officer Blevins and Officer Harris were able to detain Gray nearby and retrieved the bags he dropped.

Gray’s belongings included suspected crack cocaine, marijuana, oxycodone, suspected fentanyl, more than $4,000 cash, a loaded hand gun and a loaded rifle.

Gray was charged with Weapons Under Disability. The investigation is ongoing.

Gray also had active felony warrants out of Lucas County.
