One shot during dispute at Columbus fast food restaurant

COLUMBUS, OH – One person was shot after a dispute at a Columbus Wendy’s parking lot on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, at 10:10 am, officers were dispatched to a fast food restaurant located in the 1000 block of E. Broad St. on the report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with the 32-year-old victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition and later upgraded to serious condition.

A witness interviewed at the scene stated the victim was engaged in a verbal argument with an unknown female white passenger aboard a red 2-door Cadillac in the restaurant parking lot.

During the altercation, the witness heard several gunshots and then saw the victim lying on the ground of the parking lot.
