11-year-old girl reported missing in Newark

Newark, NJ – The Newark Police Department is seeking information on the whereabouts of a missing girl who was last seen on Saturday.

Newark Public Safety Director Brian A. O’Hara requests the public’s assistance in Locating Xiomara Elizabeth Giron Soriano, 11, of Newark. She was last seen on Saturday, January 29, 2022.

Xiomara was last seen in the 100 block of Van Buren Street. She is known to frequent the East Ward of Newark, NJ and New York City.

Xiomara is 4’11” and weighs approximately 90 pounds. She has a light complexion, brown eyes, and long black wavy hair.

Director O’Hara urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Xiomara Elizabeth Giron Soriano to call the Newark Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
