19-Year-Old Man Shot in Northwest Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – On February 1, 2022, at approximately 12:49 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers were dispatched to the 3500 block of Oakmont Avenue to investigate a reported shooting. Once there, officers located a 19-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the thigh.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Eastern District detectives assumed control over the investigation after learning the shooting took place in the 700 block of Broadway.
