WILLINGBORO, NJ – On January 31, 2022 Lieutenant Bradley Hill retired from the Willingboro Township Police Department after serving the community for 25 years.
Brad grew-up in Willingboro. He attended the Willingboro school system; ultimately graduating from Willingboro High School in 1988. He went onto attend and graduate from Rider University in 1993.
Brad was hired by the Willingboro Police Department in January 1997, and graduated from the Camden County Police Academy in May of that same year. His career began in the Patrol Division serving as Bicycle Officer and a Field Training Officer. In 2005 he was selected for the position of Detective in the Criminal Investigations Division. While working in the Criminal Division he was chosen to be a Hostage Negotiator and Fingerprint Analyst, and in 2012 he was selected to be the Evidence Manager and Crime Analyst.
Brad returned to the Patrol Division in April of 2016 when he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and was assigned to supervise a Day Work Shift. While serving as a Patrol Sergeant he was asked to lead the Citizen Police Academy and serve as the supervisor of the Field Training Officers.
In July of 2019 Brad was promoted to Lieutenant. He served as the Patrol Commander of the Midnight Shift and finally as the Commander of the Police Records Division. Brad was also extremely active in the Willingboro FOP where he served on the executive board for over 10 years and participated in numerous fund raisers and charitable events.
