Home intruder, ex-boyfriend who violated protective order shot and killed during snow storm

TULSA, OK – Neither a protective order nor a snowstorm stopped Christian Holdman from breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home, but a shot fired from her new boyfriend’s gun did the job.

On 2/3/2022 around 2:15 a.m., Officers were called out to a shooting at an apartment near 12th and Erie Ave. Officers found 21-year-old Christian Holdman dead inside the apartment with multiple gunshot wounds. Holdman’s girlfriend had previously filed a protective order against Holdman two days ago.

The investigation revealed that Holdman kicked in the door of the apartment and confronted his former girlfriend and her current boyfriend. Holdman was armed and came at the current boyfriend. The current boyfriend fired at Holdman and killed him. Detectives questioned the shooter/current boyfriend, and he was released pending further investigation.
