Shot Spotter Alerts Baltimore Police to Man Who was Shot and Killed

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – On February 11, 2022, at approximately 9:51 a.m., Western District patrol officers were dispatched to investigate a Shot Spotter alert and discovered an unidentified male victim suffering from gunshot wounds in the 1800 block of Ashburton Street.

The victim was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center and pronounced dead by medical personnel. Homicide investigators responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.
