One person shot and killed in Camden shopping center

Camden, N.J. – Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting at a shopping center in Camden, announced Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.

At approximately 3:54 p.m. on February 13, 2022, officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation on the 2700 block of Mount Ephraim Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to Cooper Hospital where he succumbed to his injury at approximately 7:09 p.m. He has been identified as Kadeem McBride, 31, of Sicklerville, N.J.
