CATONSVILLE, MARYLAND – Playing Maryland Lottery scratch-offs is a fun routine for a Baltimore County resident, who prefers playing instant tickets to other Lottery games. Winning the $50,000 top prize on a Lucky instant ticket turned his fun routine into a financial windfall that is his biggest scratch-off payday ever.

The 62-year-old found his lucky instant ticket at 7-Eleven #20772 located at 1808 Woodlawn Drive in Baltimore County. With no rhyme or reason, the Catonsville man selected the $5 Lucky scratch-off at the store. He revealed a symbol of a stack of coins on his game and beneath it was the $50,000 prize. Now, he has every reason to celebrate!

His Lottery retailer, 7-Eleven #20772 in Woodlawn, will receive a $500 bonus from the Lottery for its role in selling a $50,000 top prize-winning scratch-off. The Lucky instant ticket, which is still available around the state, went on sale in September 2021. There are four unclaimed top prizes remaining along with seven $5,000 prizes.
