Houston police investigating shooting death at Kipp Way Street apartment complex

HOUSTON, TX – Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 10800 Kipp Way Street about noon on Tuesday.   The victim is identified as Spencer Nichols, 32.   HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Fregia and D. Higgs and Officers S. Chettry and D. Glass reported:   HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and learned a male suspect got into an altercation with Mr. Nichols’ sister the night before. 

The suspect later returned to the sister’s residence, at which time the suspect and Nichols got into an altercation.  The suspect then fatally shot Nichols and fled the scene.  Anyone with information, in this case, is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
