Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 35-year-old Frankie M. Hancock of Buffalo pleaded guilty before State Supreme Court Justice Deborah A. Haendiges to one count of Attempted Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child in the First Degree (Class “C” felony) and one count of Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child in the Second Degree (Class “D” felony). The defendant pleaded guilty to the charges last week.
The defendant admitted that he attempted to engage in two or more acts of sexual conduct with a victim who was less than 11-years-old between March 1, 2017 and February 1, 2019. During the same time period, the defendant admitted that he engaged in two or more acts of sexual conduct with a second victim who was also less than 11-years-old.
Hancock faces a maximum of 15 years in prison when he is sentenced on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. He continues to remain held without bail.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Meredith M. Mohun of the Domestic Violence/Special Victims Bureau.
