Suspect wanted for armed robbery of Philadelphia CVS

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Police are searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery of a CVS drugstore on North 12th Street. The crime occurred in November, but police today have released photos from the store’s surveillance system in the hope of identifying the subject.

“On Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 11:08 am, an unknown black male entered the CVS located at 1717 North 12th Street and pointed a handgun at the employees demanding they empty the cash register. After complying with the suspect’s demands opening the register, the suspect ordered her to hand him the cash from the register,” the Philadelphia Police Department said in a statement. “After handing the suspect $53 the suspect fled then store. The suspect was seen arriving and leaving in a late model, gray in color, Honda Accord with a PA tag of LML-4289. This tag is in stolen status and does not belong on this car. The car also has a unique black tag on the front bumper with a white graphic.”
