Philadelphia police searching for suspect in bar shooting

PHILADELPHIA, PA – This week, the Philadelphia Police Department released a photo and video of a suspect wanted for a shooting incident at a Philadelphia bar in January.

According to police, the shooting happened on February 11th, inside El Toro bar at 898 Belmont Avenue. Shortly after 10:30 PM, a fight breaks out inside the bar between two men.

“During the altercation, a third man, the offender, intervenes by pulling out a silver and black handgun and striking the one man on the side of his head, causing the gun to discharge,” the department said. “The gunman then leaves the scene. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect exits the bar after the shooting and walks westbound on Westminster Street towards 43rd Street.”
