HOLLYWOOD, FL – A woman entering her rental car in Hollywood, Florida found a surprise she wasn’t expecting. As she approached the car, she noticed a large snake on the dashboard and called the police.
Hollywood Police Department officer responded and called for backup.
“A woman found a slithery surprise inside of her rental car over the weekend,” the Hollywood Police Department said. “She called HPD and Officer Gibbons responded to find this big guy on the dashboard.”
Florida Wildlife Conservation officers arrived on the scene and removed the snake.
According to Allen Both, owner of Major League Exotic Pets in Jackson Township, New Jersey, the snake is a Motley Boa. Motley Boas can grow up to six feet in length as an adult and are rarely dangerous to humans.
