New Ocean Township Waterfront Park Being Soiled By Discarded Pet Waste, Officials Say

Waretown, NJ – Dog owners are being advised to curb their dogs and to properly discard waste when visiting the Waretown Bayfront Park and Pier.

“The Township of Ocean has received numerous complaints of individuals failing to dispose of their dogs waste at the end of Bryant Road in the area of the new Waretown Bayfront Park and Pier,” township officials said in a release on Wednesday. “All pet owners and keepers are required to immediately and properly dispose of their pet’s solid waste deposited on any property, public or private, not owned or possessed by that person in accordance with Township ordinance 95-24.”

“Please be considerate of your neighbors along with those visiting our parks and clean up after your dogs. This does not just pertain to the end of Bryant Rd. but to the entire town,” the town said.
