Teen charged as murder suspect who dumped body behind Brooklyn Park funeral home

BROOKLYN PARK, MD – Anne Arundel Police have arrested an 18-year-old in connection with a homicide committed last month after the body of 19-year-old Devin Scott Freeman was found behind a Brooklyn Park funeral home.

Anne Arundel County Police have arrested and charged 18-year-old Jaden Crowner for that murder.

On February 27th at approximately 10:00 a.m. police officers responded to the Gonce Funeral home for a body located behind the business.

“Upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased male with apparent trauma to his body. A Forensic Investigator from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) and Homicide Detectives responded. The victim was identified as Devin Scott Freeman a 19-year-old male. Mr. Freeman was transported to the OCME for an autopsy where the cause and manner of death will be determined,” the Anne Arundel County Police Department said.
