Suspected Serial Homeless Killer Captured in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A man wanted for shooting five homeless men and wounding two has been captured in Washington, D.C.

“Early this AM, law enforcement arrested the suspect in Washington, DC. He is currently being interviewed at our Homicide Branch. Additional information will be forthcoming. Thanks to the community for all your tips,” the D.C. Metro Police Department reported. at 5:40 am on Tuesday.

On Monday, D.C. police released clear close-up images of the suspect that led to his arrest.

The gunman has been identified as Gerald Brevard III, 30.
