Watch: Armed burglars pose as Con Edison workers to force entry, rob Queens homeowner

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police are investigating a Queens home invasion where two suspects dressed as Con Edison workers approached a homeowner and brandished guns, forcing their way into his home.

According to the York City Police Department, the incident happened on February 28th at 11:15 AM near 95 the Avenue and 83rd Street.

“The subjects posed as Con Edison workers displaying firearms while forcing their way into the location to remove property,” the NYPD said.

A video released by the NYPD shows the men confronting the homeowner, a 41-year-old man while wearing head coverings and facemasks.
