DISTRICT HEIGHTS, MD – A 24-year-old D.C. man was shot and killed in District Heights Friday night according to the Prince Georges Police Department. The victim was identified as 24-year-old Markelle Morrow.
Early Friday morning police were called to the 3400 block of Walters Lane for a shooting, but the suspect had since fled. Police said the victim was located laying down in a parking lot. He was rushed to the hospital but died a short time later.
