Pedestrian seriously injured in Woodbury hit and run

WOODBURY, NJ – Police in Woodbury City today reported a victim is in serious condition after being struck during a hit-and-run while walking along North Evergreen Avenue.

According to the Woodbury City Police Department, a white Ford F-150, likely a 2009 to 2014 model with no front tag was involved in a pedestrian motor vehicle crash where the victim sustained a serious bodily injury on Saturday at around 8:30 am in the area of North Evergreen Ave.

“Following the incident, the suspect vehicle fled the area without stopping, headed north on North Evergreen Ave and into Westville on Broadway,” the Woodbury Police Department said in a statement. “The vehicle sustained damage to the front passenger’s side and front passenger’s side headlight.”
