Philadelphia Police searching for suspect wanted for multiple commercial burglaries

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Philadelphia Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect wanted for multiple burglaries in Center City that occurred on March 15th.

“Although the suspect’s face cannot be seen clearly, he is wearing distinctive clothing that could help identify him,” Police said.

On March 15, 2022, the unknown male gained entry to Maxx’s Produce located at 255 S 20th St through a side door. Once inside the suspect took an undetermined amount of money the fled. He was wearing a dark sweatshirt with the letters “CHB” on the front, gray pants with a dark stripe down the leg, dark shoes and a distinctive light color backpack with darker straps and trim.

At 3:50 am, it is suspected the same male gained entry to King of Tandoor Restaurant located at 1824 Callowhill St through the front window. Once inside the suspect took an undetermined amount of money then fled.

Later, the suspect entered Cafe Ole Coffee Shop located at 147 N 3rd St through a side door. Once inside the suspect took an undetermined amount of money then fled.
