Two Shot Sunday Morning in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore Police are investigating two unrelated shootings that took place early Sunday morning.

At approximately 12:50 a.m., Southern District patrol officers were called to a parking garage in the 1500 block of Russell Street, for a report of a shooting. Once there, officers located a 26-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

At approximately 3:31 a.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to a Baltimore County area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. Once there, officers located a 41-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim’s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was possibly shot while in the 6300 block of Belair Road by an unidentified suspect.
