Two women involved in Lindenwold jewelry store heist make off with $5,000 in items

LINDENWOLD, NJ – Two women who stole $5,000 in jewelry from a Lindenwold business are now being sought by police.

According to the Lindenwold Police Department, the two women entered Marquise Jewelry II located at 250 E. Gibbsboro Rd. on March 12th, at approximately 1:50 pm.

“The females arrived in a red ’21 Hyudai Elantra bearing RI registration being operated by a third person. The females distracted the employee and removed jewelry from the display tray valued at approximately $5,000.00,” the LPD said in a statement. “The actors then attempted another similar theft at Marquise Jewelry on Federal St in Camden city soon after this incident, but left without any proceeds. The females may be from out of state, specifically, the Queens, area.”
