Allentown Police Crack Down on Illegal Dirt Bikes, 2 arrested, Vehicles Seized

ALLENTOWN, PA – It is a growing trend across America as many are taking to city streets to illegally joy ride their off-road vehicles, causing a neighborhood nuisance to homeowners and legally registered drivers on the streets.

This week, the Allentown Police Department announced a crackdown on the illegal activity, arresting two and seizing four vehicles.

“As part of an operation addressing quality-of-life issues caused by those riding dirt bikes and other all-terrain vehicles in the city, Allentown police have arrested two people and have seized four illegal vehicles,” the department said.

The names of those charged were not released.
