Columbia teen robbed of sneakers and cell phone

COLUMBIA, MD – Howard County police officers responded to an incident on Indian Camp Road on Tuesday after a teen reported he was robbed by a group of acquaintances.

According to the juvenile victim, he was assaulted by the group and robbed of his sneakers and cell phone.

“A juvenile male victim reported that he was assaulted by a group of acquaintances who stole his sneakers and cell phone,” the HCPD said in a statement. “No serious injuries were reported. Police identified one suspect and arrested him.”

Dan Junell Martilla Loyola, 18, of Columbia, was charged with robbery and assault
