Three men make clean getaway after stealing two shopping carts full of laundry detergent

ANNAPOLIS, MD – A store manager at the Annapolis Giant food store on Bay Ridge Road reported three men walked out of the business with three shopping carts full of laundry detergents.

According to the Annapolis Police Department, on Tuesday, at approximately 1:42 pm, officers responded to the business located in the 900 block of Bay Ridge Road for a reported theft.

“The manager of the business advised that three men exited the store with two grocery carts full of laundry detergents without paying,” the department said. “The men were last seen leaving the area in a vehicle and were not located. Total loss value to the business was $577.94.”

According to the report by the Annapolis police, the three men were able to make a clean getaway.
