Police Investigating Shooting at New Castle Gas Statio

New Castle, DE – The Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that took place outside a New Castle gas station on Thursday.

According to police, at approximately 1:00 p.m., a 33-year-old Smyrna man arrived at Valero located at 891 S. Dupont Highway, New Castle, to get fuel. He pulled his vehicle into the diesel pump before realizing he was at the wrong pump.

The victim was struck multiple times and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.”
