34 Year-Old Shot And Killed in Baltimore, Suspect Arrested Minutes Later

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide which took place at the Bel-Park Towers at 3800 Block of West Belvedere Ave on March 25th. This shooting occurred on March 25th at approximately 11:37am.

According to officials, “Upon arrival, officers located 34 year-old Courtney Campbell who was suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest. Campbell was transported Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later. Officers on the scene were immediately able to identify and locate the shooter. 30 year-old Marcus Harris was arrested and transported to the Homicide Section where he was Mirandized and questioned. Ultimately, Harris was transported to Central Booking where he has been charged with 1st Degree Murder.”

The Baltimore detectives also recovered the weapon involved in the shooting.

Marcus Harris is being held at Central Booking without bail.
