WEST ISLIP, NY – A West Islip man used various internet chat and social media platforms to pose as a younger person in an attempt to solicit others for nude and indecent pictures and videos of children online.
According to the Suffolk County Police, 73-year-old Nicholas Pedagno was arrested on child [censored]ography charges are now asking the public to come forward if they, or someone they know, has been a victim.
Upon examination of his portable electronic device, investigators found multiple social media accounts that Pedagno used to contact others, posing as a younger person. The accounts and identifications included:

Detectives are asking anyone with information or who believes they may be a victim of Pedagno to contact the Computer Crimes Unit at 631-852-6279.
