PITTSBURGH, PA – The Pittsburgh Police Department responded to the area of the 800 block of N. Homewood Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert for four rounds fired. Arriving police officers on scene located a juvenile male with a gunshot wound to the head. Officers rendered aid to the victim until EMS arrived. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating. Police said no suspects were in custody at this time.
