Brooklyn Teen Arrested for Orchestrated Gang Attack against Orthodox Jewish Victim

BROOKLYN, NY – The New York City Police have arrested a 16-year-old and said the attack on an Orthodox Jewish man Friday night during the sabbath was gang-related.

A group of young black males approached the man in the area of 5 Gerry Street in Williamsburg and began to beat and kick the man. The teen has been charged with gang assault and hate-crime assault. The New York City Police Department did not release his name.

The arrest comes just 24 hours after the NYPD tweeted a video of the teens who committed the attack.
