Truck Load of English Biscuits Strewn Across Road

Police waited about an hour, hoping a tanked full of tea would crash after a truckload of biscuits were strewn across the road during a mishap on the highway. They weren’t waiting for tea, of course, but just imagine.

Police in the Erewash District of Derbyshire, England reported a truckload of McVitie biscuits spilled out in the middle of Ilkeston Road in Sandiacre.

“Ilkeston Road. Please bare with us this evening whilst we try and ‘digest’ this issue…. A lorry load of @McVities finest have decided to abandon ship causing a slight obstruction,” the department said.
