San Francisco Police Investigates Bayview District Homicide 22-047

On Friday, April 1, 2022, at approximately 1:21 p.m., San Francisco Police officers from Bayview Police Station responded to the area of 3rd Street and Palou Avenue for a report of a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and located a 21-year-old male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers rendered aid and summoned medics to the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased at the hospital. A second victim, a 29-year-old male, was treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

This investigation is being led by the SFPD Homicide Detail.
