ShotSpotter Alert Leads Cops to Pittsburg Gunshot Victim

PITTSBURGH, PA – Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert on Idlewild Street. Pittsburgh Police from Zone 5 responded to a ShotSpotter alert followed by a 9-1-1 call for a male shot in the 7300 block of Idlewild Street at 6:45 p.m.

Arriving units located the victim inside a residence. He suffered gunshot wounds to the stomach and the leg and was transported to the hospital by medics in critical condition.

A vehicle with two possible actors inside fled the area after the shooting. There are no arrests reported at this time.
