26 Year-Old Woman Shot in Southwest Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on April 15th. This incident took place on Hilton and Baltimore Street in Southwest Baltimore at approximately 12:30am.

Southwest District Police Officers responded to a walk-in shooting victim needing treatment at an area hospital.

According to investigators, “When officers arrived at the hospital, officers located a 26-year-old female victim suffering from a parent gunshot wound to the right shoulder. The victim has non-life-threatening injuries. Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was walking in the area of Hilton and Baltimore Street when an unidentified male suspect attempted to rob her. The victim then attempted to flee when she was shot. The victim was able to drive herself to the hospital. Southwest District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.”
