Youths Charged for Water Pellet Gun Shooting in Newark

NEWARK, DE- Three youths were charged for shooting a pedestrian with water pellets discharged from a toy gun.

Acccording to the Newark Police Department, on Wednesday, three suspects in this incident turned themselves in to Newark Police.  The suspects were identified as a 15-year-old male from Earleville, MD, and 16 and 17-year-old males from Elkton, MD.  Each was charged with Offensive Touching, Disorderly Conduct, Conspiracy Third Degree, and Discharging a Gun In Public

All three defendants were released to a parent on their own recognizance to appear in New Castle County Family Court at a later date.
