Baltimore Police Make Arrest in Homicide of 22 Year-Old Man

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department have made an arrest in the April 3rd Homicide of 22-year-old Troy Gross. The shooting took place on the 2500 Block of West Patapsco Avenue in Baltimore at approximately 11:18pm.

Homicide detectives interviewed several potential witnesses. It has been determined that this homicide was a result of a verbal dispute.

According to Investigators, “Gunshots were exchanged between the suspect and the victim. On April 6, 2022, detectives obtained an arrest warrant and on April 12, 2022, members of the Warrant Task Force arrested 34 year-old Karl Wallace in the 500 block of E. Baltimore Street without incident. Wallace was transported to the Homicide Section where he was interviewed and then to central Booking where he has been charged with 1st Degree Murder.”

Karl Wallace is currently being held in Central Booking waiting to see a court commissioner.
