26 Year-Old Man Shot And Killed Inside Car In Northeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a homicide which took place on April 16th. This incident happened on the 1100 block of Raum Street, in Northeast D.C. near Gallaudet University.

According to Police, “At approximately 4:08 am, members of the Fifth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the members located an adult male victim inside of a vehicle, unconscious and not breathing, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. DC Fire and EMS responded to the scene and found that the victim displayed no signs consistent with life. The victim remained on scene until transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.”

 26 year-old John Jones, of Temple Hills, Maryland was named as the victim.
