38 Year-Old Woman Shot And Killed In Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a homicide that took place on April 17th. This incident happened on the 3800 Block of Minnesota Avenue in Northeast D.C.

According to detectives, “At approximately 11:16 am, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, the members located an adult female victim inside of a vehicle, unconscious and not breathing, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. DC Fire and EMS responded to the scene and found that the victim displayed no signs consistent with life. The victim remained on scene until transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.”

38 year-old Tiffany Wiggins, of Southeast, D.C. was named as the victim.
